{"id":23619,"date":"2018-03-21T19:01:20","date_gmt":"2018-03-21T19:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.qls.gr\/?p=23619"},"modified":"2018-03-21T19:20:50","modified_gmt":"2018-03-21T19:20:50","slug":"qlp-qls-learning-profile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qls.gr\/en\/qlp-qls-learning-profile\/","title":{"rendered":"QLP &#8211; QLS LEARNING PROFILE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again QLS proves itself as a pioneer with its QLP &#8211; QLS LEARNING PROFILE, a programme of Differentiated Instruction which is being implemented in the member schools of its Network.<\/p>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>Always keeping abreast of the demands of the times, QLS prepares children for a very different world. Faced with the intense pace of everyday life, schoolchildren need to become aware of their personalities as well as the way in which they can learn more easily, taking maximum advantage of their innate characteristics. Our co-operation with the scientific team of the Computer Academy, which has developed the ARISTON psychometric series, enables us to offer our children this valuable knowledge. This series is the result of university research in Greece and Europe, and has been created with the support of the European Union, and has been officially certified by the University of Nicosia. Our primary concern has always been to offer our learners the potential to gain the greatest benefits from the educational process. This is why we encourage our learners to take the QLP Test by ARISTON.<\/p>\n<p>The QLP Test is a diagnostic psychometric test designed to show a person&#8217;s individual learning profile. It explores the alternative types of intelligence which each learner possesses, and depending on which types are most developed it recommends ways of learning, as well as personalized tuition. The learners become aware of their individual learning types and the ways in which they acquire and process cognitive information, &#8220;learning to learn,&#8221; and this results in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>stress-free lesson preparation<\/li>\n<li>pinpointing the key points of a lesson<\/li>\n<li>spending less time studying<\/li>\n<li>remembering more easily<\/li>\n<li>studying without leaving gaps<\/li>\n<li>well-organised studying<\/li>\n<li>greater self-confidence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>HOW WE DETERMINE EACH LEARNER&#8217;S LEARNING PROFILE<\/h4>\n<p>Each student is given a code number which allows him to take the Test on-line at a QLS school. It takes 30-45 minutes to complete. The learner answers a series of questions which appear on the screen and receives within a few days the official 17-page report analyzing his learning profile produced by the ARISTON Computer Academy.<\/p>\n<h4>WE TEACH IN THE WAY OUR LEARNERS LEARN<\/h4>\n<p>Our teachers have been trained to adapt their teaching by compiling the Learning Styles Profile of each class. Knowing their learners&#8217; learning profile enables the teachers to utilize their learners&#8217; potential to help them learn more effectively.<\/p>\n<h4>THERE ARE BENEFITS AT STATE SCHOOL, TOO<\/h4>\n<p>By means of the ARISTON \/ QLS Learning Profile the child learns how he learns, and can thus maximize his learning potential. This will be of benefit to him at his state school as he will know how to learn more efficiently. Do not forget!
