QLS CELEBRATING SHAKESPEARE YEAR 2016

1616-2016: celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare’s cultural  and intellectual legacy

2016 marks 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare, English literature’s greatest name. It’s not just the Bard’s writing that has endured for centuries but his legacy which has had an unprecedented impact  on all edges of cultural sphere; one which proved so essential not only to the development of drama and literature, but to language, to thoughts and ideas. To how we profess our love to each other, and to how we express our grief; his influence pervades so much in our lives, because his work has become so timeless in its ability to touch upon human nature.

All QLS school dotted all over Greece will join in the global celebrations by organising a series of events for their students from very young ones to teenagers. These events will include in-school activities and projects  which will culminate with a not to be missed event to mark the end of the celebrations! A plethora of surprises awaits not only our students but our friends as well! Stay tuned!!!
