SHAKESPEARE VS BULLIES ART PROJECT

As part of the QLS “Keep Smiling: From Children To Children” Volunteering Year, school members around Greece organized the “Shakespeare VS Bullies” Art Project for January 2017.

The project’s aim was to sensitize students about bullying as they were required to produce posters inspired by Shakespeare’s wise words “Love all, Trust a few. Do wrong to none.”.

The project also honoured the 400^th anniversary of the bard’s death. Once all the entries were collected, the “QLS Smilers” Teams of Anti-Bullying Volunteers around Greece took on the role of “art curators” in order to select the most inspired and inspiring posters which won prizes.

All entries were then displayed in art exhibitions set up by the QLS Smilers on their schools’ premises.
